Come join your friends for a family campout/trail work event to start off the the EBSP’s 2024-2025 season!
We have reserved Group Campsite #2 at the Loon Lake Campground for the evening of Friday September 6 through Sunday September 8. Feel free to join us on Friday evening, with the main event to begin on Saturday morning at 9:00. We’ll use trucks and long ladders to re-hang diamonds in the Campground Loop and on the Chipmunk Bluff trail, and if time, will also work on the Zephyr and Glissade trails. There will be time on Saturday afternoon for hiking, biking, playing in the lake, or just plain relaxing!
Food: the Patrol will provide coffee on Saturday morning, the main dish on Saturday night (BBQ tri tip or portobello mushrooms with grilled onions), and breakfast on Sunday morning. You’ll need to bring your own food for Friday night, Saturday breakfast, Saturday and Sunday lunch, and an item to share for Saturday dinner. We’ll have a full camping kitchen available to use (4-burner stove, coffee pot, dishes/utensils, pots/pans, hand wash, water jugs, dish cleaning supplies). Bring your own drinks other than coffee.
